Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides

Raised in Argentina

Joint pain lessens our desire to go outside and get the exercise we need. Wrinkles cause us to not feel good about the way we look. Luckily the word collagen originates from the Greek word, “Kolla” meaning glue. It's because collagen acts like the glue holding us together. Collagen supplements help to support our bones, joints, muscles, skin, hair, and nails.*

Collagen Peptides In Real Life

We asked our community to share their routines

Skin

Collagen holds us together. But after age 30 our bodies collagen levels decline by 1-2% each year. When there isn’t enough, we start to show our real age. Collagen supplements can help us fill the missing gap.*

Mobility

Collagen supports joint health because it defines our structural integrity. Support your joints and bone health without spending the hours it takes to slowly simmer bone broth by using our collagen peptide powder.*

Nails

The first thing most people notice after taking collagen is stronger hair and nails. Collagen hydrolysate supplies your body with essential amino acids making it the ultimate beauty supplement for shiny hair, skin elasticity, and strong nails.*

This dissolves quickly in liquid, even when using with ice for shakes.

First time user

So far so good. Seems like a good quality product. I get this and the unflavored protein, mix the two together. I am sure I will be a repeat customer

Perfect breakfast shake

I add 1 scoop of collagen peptides and 1 scoop of whey protein isolate into my coffee shake in the morning. Both products dissolve seamlessly and with no noticeable aftertaste.

How much collagen should you take a day?

The answer really depends on your goals but for most people one scoop is plenty to see the benefits.

What is collagen?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body, found in your bones, muscles, skin, and tendons. It’s the substance that holds us together providing support and structure.

What does collagen do?

Collagen can support strong hair and nails, supple joints, and smooth skin. It acts like a scaffold to provide our bodies with structure.

Which type of collagen is this?

Opportuniteas collagen powder is 80% type I and 20% type III collagen.

What foods are rich in collagen?

Bone broth is extremely rich in collagen. Meat also contains significant quantities of collagen. To get the most it’s important to eat nose-to-tail like our great grandparents did. Collagen powder supplements are popular as they are nearly tasteless and can be mixed with any drink or recipe.

What age should you start taking collagen?

Collagen production begins to decline naturally when at about age 25, and it decreases even more in women after menopause. Collagen production also decreases with activities like smoking, sugar, and excess sun exposure.

What is the best source of collagen?

The best source of collagen is one that you can take consistently. The maximum benefits of collagen are felt after 8 to 12 weeks of consistent use. So pick whatever form of collagen you can enjoy taking regularly.

How can I produce more collagen naturally?

Staying hydrated is one of the easiest ways to boost collagen. A facial massage can help stimulate collagen production and relax facial muscles. Foods rich in vitamin C and sulphur aid in the forming of collagen like beans, cabbage, garlic, broccoli, berries, and spinach. Quit smoking and reduce the amount of sugar in your diet as they can deplete collagen levels.

What are the 3 common types of collagen?

The most common types of collagen are type I, II, and III. Type I collagen is found in the skin, organs, and bones. Type II collagen is the main collagenous component of cartilage. Type III collagen is the main component of reticular fibers.

Is it safe to take collagen supplements?

Research shows that taking collagen supplements is a safe and effective way to improve your skin, joints, nails, and hair. Remember, it’s best to check with your doctor before adding any new supplements to your diet.

What does hydrolyzed mean?

Hydrolyzation is where the proteins are broken up into smaller molecules so they are easier to absorb. Hydrolyzed collagen is the best way to feel the benefits of collagen.
