Coffee creamer alternative
It's a good creamer for your coffee. However it does clump up, so be aware that you might have tiny bits of it floating in your coffee. That's not a problem for me. Some people say it's sweet, but I don't think so. It's natural coconut, so there's a very subtle sweetness to it. But I still need to add sugar to my coffee. Also the natural flavor of the coconut is not overpowering, so that's nice. This coconut milk powder adds a certain butteriness to the coffee, which I'm still not sure how I feel about. I'm also a user of Coconut Cloud powdered creamer. And that one used to be good before they superficially added extra MCT oil to the Coconut Cloud. I didn't like the resulting oil slick the Coconut Cloud left in my coffee. That is why I tried this creamer instead. Definitely no oil slick with this creamer. However it's just that butteriness in the after-taste that I'm not yet sure whether I like or not.
Best Non-dairy Creamer I’ve Found
Allowed to drink coffee, but cannot use normal powdered creamers because of additives. I tried coconut milk and other powders and did not enjoy my coffee until I tried this product - YEAH!
Yes, clumping is normal and natural. Our coconut milk powder has the minimal amount of other ingredients necessary for turning liquid coconut milk into powder. In fact our powder is 97% coconut milk and just 3% other ingredients. The low amount of other ingredients is why our powder clumps slightly. These clumps can be broken apart by squeezing the sealed pouch lightly with your hand or by using a blender to mix up your drinks and recipes.
2.5% of the total powder is organic tapioca maltodextrin (derived from Yuca Root.) 0.5% of the total powder is organic acacia fiber. We use the least amount of other ingredients possible so you get the maximum amount of coconut milk per serving.
Once opened fresh coconut milk is good for only 7 to 10 days in the refrigerator. On the other hand, powdered coconut milk can last for up to two years when stored out of the heat, away from direct sunlight.
Mix one scoop of coconut milk powder into coffee, tea, juice, smoothies, and recipes.
Coconut milk powder is made by dehydrating fresh coconut milk to create a shelf-stable product that lasts without the need for refrigeration.
Mix powdered coconut milk with water to make regular coconut milk. The best part is that you can customize the flavor to your preference. Add more powder for a stronger taste and less powder for a weaker taste.
