I will be testing my blood sugar and my ketone levels at 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes after drinking MCT oil powder with my coffee. I’m scientific at heart so I just love testing stuff and seeing how my body reacts to things. Let's see...

  • Before
  • After

I was very happy to see that I don’t need a blender. I’m so used to MCT oils where you have to blend it or else you’re going to get that oil slick at the top and that’s really disgusting.

When I first started doing Bulletproof coffee I didn’t blend it, and it has this nasty cover at the top. I was like OMG this is so gross, how do people do this. Then I realized I needed to be blending it. With this it makes it super easy because it’s a powder. It mixes with a spoon. So you could put it into a shaker cup and shake it and be on the go with it.

So I tested my blood sugar and my ketone levels at 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes after drinking it.

30 min - Blood Sugar 74 - Ketone 0.6

 60 min - Blood Sugar 71 - Ketone 0.8

 90 min - Blood Sugar 75 - Ketone 0.9

 120 min - Blood Sugar 74 - Ketone 1.1

My blood sugar was stable and my ketone levels increased. And I do love the MCT by the way. My husband already told me we need to order more because he clearly likes it too and there’s one scoop left.
